ESPAÑOL Musico, Guitarrista y Compositor. Nacido en Tucumán en 1975. Inició los estudios de guitarra a los 12 años de la mano
del Prof. Carlos Podazza. Desde 1993 integró distintas agrupaciones musicales, entre
las que se destacan el grupo de rock “ Desde el año 1997 comienza a tomar clases de guitarra con el Prof. Jose Luis Conde de quien aprendió principalmente a amar la música. En ese mismo año conforma el conjunto de música popular latinoamericana “Narval” y desde entonces, con algunas intermitencias, no ha dejado de actuar en locales y salas. En el año 2002 obtiene el titulo de Abogado en el Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, profesión que ejerce a la par de su actividad musical. Entre los años 2005/2007 integró el grupo de trova “Caín y Abel”. Entre los años 2005/06 fue integrante del Coro de Cámara de Tucumán, dirigido por el Mtro. Ricardo Steinsleger. Actualmente cursa la carrera de Profesorado en Artes con
Orientación en Música en el Instituto Superior de Musica
de Ha tomado clases particulares de canto con las Profesoras Viviana Suter, Roxana Manrique y Miriam Molina. A partir del 2007, se presenta como solista, acompañado en
la mayoría de las presentaciones por el Trio de Trova (conjunto integrado por Lucrecia Chani,
David Dionisio y Federico Selis) Ha presentado sus canciones en distintas ciudades de Argentina: Rosario de Santa Fe, Mar del Plata, Santiago del Estero, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Tandil, Necochea, Salta, Metan (Salta), San Salvador de Jujuy, Unquillo (Córdoba), Villa María (Córdoba), San Miguel de Tucumán, Monteros (Tuc), Concepción (Tuc), Aguilares (Tuc), Famaillá (Tuc). Desde el año 2008 dicta clases particulares de música y guitarra. Su primer trabajo discográfico “Indigo” salió a la luz a principios de 2010 y ha recibido los mejores halagos de la crítica especializada. En el 2009 realizó una serie de recitales en la ciudad de Houston, EEUU. En Febrero de 2010, realizó una gira por el Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña, actuando en las Universidades de Oxford y Bristol, entre otras presentaciones. Su actividad musical, calidad compositiva y su empeño por
la difusión y el desarrollo de la música popular latinoamericana le ha valido
la participación en numerosos encuentros y festivales de música, tales como
el Encuentro Nacional de Trovadores Rosario 2005; Festival de Música
Independiente Tucumán 2005; 25ª Marcha de Asimismo, ha integrado el jurado del 1º Festival de Sus canciones han sido interpretadas por numerosos músicos
y conjuntos tales como el Dúo Santiago y Andrea (Salta), el Dúo Finalmente, tanto trajín le ha permitido cosechar el aprecio y la amistad de muchísima gente de valioso corazón y afecto, lo cual es, en definitiva, la mejor paga que puede recibir una persona y un artista en particular. M arcos Cansinos, best known as “Indio Cansinos” is a guitarist and a composer. He has put a great effort on his musical growing and improvement. He wasn't afraid of trying different styles and cultural approaches while developing his career as a musician.About his music, the most important distinction are the lyrics and the instrumental richness in the songs he has written. Almost from the early beginning of his career he has composed almost all of the songs in his repertoir; his creativity makes that no two songs sound alike. His songs, that represent the feelings and emotions of the modern man have been interpreted by numerous musicians from Argentina. He has presented his songs throughout his home country of Argentina and given recitals in Houston, (Texas, USA) and Oxford and Bristol (UK). His music has been broadcasted in some Mexican radios. His commitment with music, his quality as a composer and his determination for the diffusion and the development of the modern Latin-American music has deserved him the participation in numerous meetings and festivals of music as “Encuentro Nacional de Trovadores Rosario 2005,” “Festival de Música Independiente Tucumán 2005,” “25ª Marcha de la Resistencia de Madres de Plaza de Mayo,” “Festival de Adentro y de Afuera Santiago del Estero 2005,” “Festival de Adentro y de Afuera Santiago del Estero 2006,” “ Encuentro de Trovadores Tucumán 2007,” “Encuentro de Trovadores Tucumán 2008,” “Julio Cultural Universitario 2005,” “ Julio Cultural Universitario 2006,” “45º Septiembre Musical Tucumano,” and “46º Septiembre Musical Tucumano.” During all this time, he has been cultivating his subtle sense of humor, that shows up in the advertaising, interviews, and live shows. Those fans who know him well enjoy his performances, but they always are waiting for the spark of humor that will surely be present and will prompt a laugh in everybody. During June 2010 Indio Cansinos, accompanied by Trio de Trova, has been working tirelessly on the presentation of his first CD named "Indigo", whose name he says he is not still sure if it is coming from the indigo children, the beautiful color, from "Indio" and "digo" ( Indio says), or from any combination of them. Indio Cansinos hopes Indigo will be the international launching of his career, as well as a source of gratification. Nevertheless, his loyalty to his ideas and principles, his love of music, his dedication to his work, and his subtle sense of humor have already given him the recognition and the friendship of many sound people, what is the best reward that an artist can get. A brief Indio Cansinos´s biography: He was born in Tucumán in 1975. He started studying guitar when he was 12 years old with Professor Carlos Podazza. During 1997 he was under the direction of Professor Jose Luis Conde, from whom Indio learned to deeply love music. He has taken privated classes of singing with Professors Viviana Suter, Roxana Manrique y Miriam Molina. Since 2008 he is a professor himself and privately teaches music and guitar classes. Currently, he is studying the career of Arts with a Mayor in Music at the Superior Institute of Music of the National University of Tucumán. From 1993 he has been a member of many musical groups and since then he has not stopped performing in bars, music venues, festivals, and theaters, as a soloist or as a band member. One of those enthusiastics groups was the rock band " The Razzia” , that was very recognized and got many fans. Searching for changes and new expressions, in 1997 he shaped “Narval,” a band of Latin-American music. From 2005 and during three years, he was one of the members of the successful duo " Cain and Abel ", that traveled along Argentina playing their own creations. Also during 2005 and 2006, he was a member of the Chamber`s Choir of Tucumán, directed by the Master Ricardo Steinsleger. During all this time, he has been cultivating his subtle humor, that shows up in the advertaising, interviews, and live shows. Those followers who know him well enjoy his performance, but they allways are waiting for the spark of humor that will surely will be present. Since 2007 he is playing not only as a soloist, but also as a member of the musical project Indio Cansinos and Trio de Trova (Songs Trio, integrated by Lucrecia Chani, David Dionisio, and Federico Selis). About Trio de Trova Lucrecia Chani, singer and percusionist. She is a Music Professor from the ISMUNT (Superior Institute of Music of the National University of Tucuman, Argentina) and continues her graduate studies toward a degree in Choral Direction. She has also took singing courses with Professor Valeria Albarracion and Miriam Molina. She was a member of the Camera Chorus of Tucuman and of the Choral Group "Intrica". She was part of the Pilot Chorus of the Choral Direction Department of the ISMUNT. Currently she is a member of the Vocal Quartet "Grupetto" and works as a Music teacher in some elementary schools in Tucuman. David Dionisio, guitarist, Music Professor graduated from the ISMUNT. He studied guitar at the "Conservatorio Provincial de Musica" de Tucuman, Argentina under the guidance of Professor Favio Avila. He has taken guitar classes with Edgardo Mendoza, Marcos Ceraolo, Fabian Cardozo, Jose Luis Conde, Lucho Hoyos, and Thomas Bettermann. He is a member of the Guitar Quartet of Lucho Hoyos. He has been a guitar player for diverse folkloric groups, as "Mity-Mity" and singer Noelia Scalora. Federico Selis, baterist and percusionist with strong Jazz influences. He has studied Profesional Artistic Paths in the "Conservatorio Provincial de Musica" of Tucuman, Argentina. He has taken percusion and battery classes with Franco Pinna, oscar Giunta, Marcelo Mira, Guido Bertini, and Jay Lowrence. He also is a member of "Tushka" and Gabriel Isa TRio" groups. He has a scholarship for a Bachelor Degree in Jazz Performance and Jazz Composition in the University of Utah and is living in the USA since July 2009. . Dicen también que el muchacho es un decente docente de las artes que ejerce. Sobre el futuro nada se sabe aun, no obstante, el Indio tiene planeado arreglar el lavarropas y cambiar al mundo para que este sea un lugar en el que todos podamos vivir libres, felices y en armonía; aun a pesar de la presión en contra que pueden hacer tipos como Bush, Micheletti, Tinelli, el juez de la 3ª nominación y sus secuaces, entre muchos otros innombrables.
